Off To a Great Start

This the first week that Prom Closet is open for the 2017 season and we are off to a great start!

This first week we have given away 51 dresses!   We were so busy Saturday that we had to scramble to make dressing room space.

Teen volunteer Olivia said she had a great time.  "People don't mind that I pick dresses and shoes for them.  They let me dress them!"



The Prom Closet saw a busy first day of the 2017 season.

God has great things in store for Prom Closet this year.  Praise Him!

God is not slowing down,   He is showing us how wide, long, high, and deep is his love.
From starting a prom closet with six dresses to planing a Special Needs Prom with no budget, I have learned that when God gives us a task he doesn't check our bank account -  He is checking our faith. Now that is deep and wide!!
We have been contacted to help with a national pageant for people with disabilities to be held in Charlotte called the USA Ms. Heels for Wheels.   I hope to give more info as the talks continue.
Dress pick up!!!!  We are going to be picking a large donation of prom dresses at Imaginon which could lead to a donation of over 500 dresses!
Hope Haven has reached out to us to help them again and they believe that this might be the last year that they host a prom for their residents. Please be in prayer for them as they make a transition.
Ephesians 3:18- (NIV)18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
